Is this a real doctor?
Yes. Every assessment is personally reviewed by a doctor registered with the Medical Council of Malta. There are no automatic approvals and no instant prescriptions; if a doctor has not read your answers, nothing happens. And behind the doctors is a real clinic: Carisma Medical is run by the team behind Carisma Wellness Group, from Floriana.
Is this legal in Malta?
Yes. Telemedicine in Malta is a proper medical consultation, held to the same professional standards as an in-person one. Your review is carried out by a Malta-registered doctor, and any prescription is a normal private prescription you collect at a pharmacy in Malta or Gozo. You do not need to be Maltese; if you live here and are 18 or over, this service is for you.
Will anyone find out?
Not from us. There is no waiting room, no counter conversation, and no branded parcel arriving at your door. You collect any prescription at a pharmacy you choose, which means you can choose one where nobody knows your name. Your answers are held in medical confidence, they are never sold, and they never go to advertising platforms.
What does it cost?
The assessment is free for everything we treat, and you only pay when the doctor approves a plan. Hair growth care is €19 per month, sexual health is €39 per month, and weight loss is €49 per month. Every plan includes your first consultation, renewals reviewed by your doctor, and ongoing care with WhatsApp support, and you can cancel anytime. If the doctor declines, you pay nothing. Medicines, where prescribed, are paid for separately at the pharmacy, at the pharmacy's own price; we never sell or ship them. Beyond the monthly plans, the Testosterone Check is a €99 assessment with the blood panel included, and the Health Check is €89 once for the Core panel or €149 for the Complete, with no subscription either way.
Why not just see my GP for €20?
For many things you should, and we will tell you when this is one of them. But some conditions go untreated for years because raising them face to face, on a small island, feels impossible. For those, we are a different door: type it once, from home, and a doctor takes it seriously within 24 hours, then stays with you month after month.
What will you never prescribe?
No sleeping tablets, no antibiotics on demand, no controlled medicines, and nothing without an individual review by a doctor. Our doctors decline requests when treatment is not safe or not appropriate. A service that never says no is not a medical service.
What happens after I submit my assessment?
A Malta-registered doctor reviews your answers within 24 hours. Our team then messages you on WhatsApp to confirm your next step. If treatment is appropriate, you receive a payment link and your private prescription goes to the pharmacy you choose. Nothing is charged before your review, and some cases are invited to a video call first.
What if the doctor says treatment is not right for me?
Then you hear that honestly, with the reason, and with where to go instead. If our doctor decides treatment is not right for you, you pay nothing for that review. Sometimes the most useful thing an assessment can do is point you somewhere better.
