Who books this

Three kinds of people book this

  • The long overdue. You cannot actually remember your last check-up. No GP, no file, no idea what your numbers are. This is the easiest way back in, and nobody lectures you about the gap.
  • The numbers person. You track your sleep, your steps and your lifts. This is the dataset your watch cannot see: cholesterol, sugar, thyroid, read by a doctor rather than an app.
  • The peace of mind. Something runs in the family, or something feels slightly off, or you would simply rather know. One visit turns a vague worry into a written plan.

Not suitable

  • Under 18
  • Currently pregnant. The right tests, and the right ranges, are different, and your midwife's schedule already covers them properly.
  • A symptom that is worrying you right now. That deserves a doctor who can hear the whole story, not a screening panel.

A health check is screening, not diagnosis, and we say so out loud. If something is worrying you today, the right first step is a doctor who can examine you, and our assessment will tell you so kindly and point the way.

How it works

One visit. The rest comes to you.

  1. Step 1

    Book it

Start the free assessment, tell us a little about you, and pick a time that suits.

  2. Step 2

    The draw

A short visit to Floriana or Swieqi. Minutes in a chair, and the in-person part is done.

  3. Step 3

    The doctor reads everything

A Malta-registered doctor reviews every result against your history. Every result, not just the red ones.

  4. Step 4

    Your written plan

Your results explained in writing, in plain language, whatever they show. If anything is flagged, your doctor calls you and talks it through.

What we check

Two checks. Plain words. Pick one.

Core Health Check

€89 once

The six systems that matter for most people.

  • Blood counts. The overall health of your blood itself, the first thing any doctor wants to see.
  • Cholesterol and heart markers. The blood fats and markers that show how your heart and arteries are doing.
  • Blood sugar. Where it sits, and where it is heading, long before it becomes a problem.
  • Liver. It works silently in the background. This is how you check in on it.
  • Kidneys. How well they filter. A number worth knowing early.
  • Thyroid. The small gland that sets the pace of your energy.

The Complete Health Check is €149, once, and adds the deeper story: vitamin D, the one most of us assume the sun has covered; B12 and folate, low levels spend years masquerading as tiredness; iron stores, not just iron today but what you have in reserve; and testosterone for men, the quiet driver of energy, drive and strength. Whichever you choose, every result is reviewed by a Malta-registered doctor, line by line, and explained without jargon.

Core €89 or Complete €149 · paid once · nothing recurring

The whole bill

Paid once. Not a membership.

€89 for Core, €149 for Complete, and that is the end of the bill. No membership, no monthly anything, no upsell waiting at the end. If a result needs action, we tell you the right next step, even when the right next step is not us.

The honest part

Screening, not diagnosis

A health check reads how your body is doing today; it does not diagnose, and we will not pretend it does. Most healthy people have at least one number slightly outside the reference range. That is how reference ranges work, not a verdict. Your doctor's job is to tell you plainly which numbers matter, which do not, and what to do next.

The doctors

Real doctors. Real names.

Every assessment is read by a Malta-registered doctor. These are the clinicians who review your answers and stand behind every plan.

Dr. Jean Claude Scicluna

Medical doctor

Postgraduate training in pain management, with a strong interest in metabolic health, obesity medicine and lifestyle interventions.

His approach combines careful medical assessment with practical, sustainable strategies tailored to each individual. Rather than promoting restrictive diets or quick fixes, he works with patients to understand the medical and lifestyle factors contributing to weight gain, creating personalised plans that fit real life.

Where clinically appropriate, he prescribes medical treatment as part of a structured programme alongside nutrition, exercise and behavioural support, helping patients achieve meaningful weight loss while preserving long-term health.

His philosophy is simple: treat the whole person, build lasting habits, and create results that patients can maintain for years, not months.

FAQ

Asking is the hard part

What exactly gets checked?

The Core check (€89) covers blood counts, cholesterol and heart markers, blood sugar, liver, kidneys and thyroid. The Complete check (€149) adds vitamin D, B12 and folate, iron stores, and testosterone for men. In both, a Malta-registered doctor reviews every result personally, against your history, not just the ones a machine flags.

Core or Complete. Which one?

Core reads the six systems that matter for most people. Complete adds the deeper story, and if you are tired all the time, train hard, or have not been checked in years, it usually earns its difference. Your doctor will not upsell you afterwards, and the written plan is equally thorough either way.

Is €89 really the whole price?

Yes, for the Core check: the draw, the panel, the doctor's review of every result and the written plan. Complete is €149 with the additions, on the same terms. Nothing recurring, nothing added later. If a result needs follow-up care, that is a separate and honest conversation, and sometimes the honest advice is your GP or a specialist rather than us.

Who can book one?

Adults 18 and over, in Malta and Gozo. The testosterone measurement in the Complete check applies to men.

What happens if something comes back off?

Your doctor calls you and talks it through: what it means, how much it matters, and what to do next, with the same points written into your plan. When the right next step is your GP, a specialist or a repeat test, we say exactly that. You will not be left googling a number at midnight.

When do I get my results?

Once the lab returns your panel and your doctor has reviewed every result. We confirm the timing when you book. You get the written plan whatever your results show, and a call from the doctor if anything needs one.

One visit. Know where you stand.
